1. Start near Pont de Bir-Hakeim
From the metro, reach the Seine near Pont de Bir-Hakeim. Look at the bridge structure and the view towards the tower, then follow Quai Branly towards Pont d’Iéna. Stay on the Left Bank for this section; there is no need to cross Bir-Hakeim and return. Keep pedestrian and cycle movement clear when stopping for photographs.
2. Choose an exterior view or entry to the tower grounds
Near the tower, decide whether to view it from outside or enter its gardens and forecourt. Site entry involves security checks even without ascending. It is therefore not a guaranteed shortcut. If time is limited, stay on the public riverside route and make Pont d’Iéna your next stop.
3. Cross Pont d’Iéna and climb towards Trocadéro
Cross Pont d’Iéna using open pedestrian paths and enter the Trocadéro gardens. Climb gradually to the esplanade as the tower comes into alignment. Slopes and possible stairs demand more effort than the riverside section. If you need to avoid steps, plan a suitable approach beforehand rather than assuming all garden paths climb in the same way.
4. Leave the panorama for the streets of the 16th
After the panorama, reach Place du Trocadéro and continue towards Rue Greuze or Rue des Sablons according to your chosen record. The final link is short, but these are different addresses. Save your choice before leaving the esplanade. With a restaurant booking, leave extra photographs for later: the meal is the planned ending, not an improvised stop.
Where to stop for a kosher meal
The selected restaurants are on the Trocadéro side after crossing the Seine. Businesses directly under the tower are not assumed to be kosher options. Read the evidence, meal category and practical details for your chosen address. If you reverse the walk, adjust the meal plan too: the restaurants remain in the 16th, not on the starting quay.
